Long quite and saddened days
The soft sounds of nothing entering a Daze
Sitting alone in an empty room
Waiting for something to just go boom
Watching the shadows on the wall
Change and shifting as the sun falls
No one around to make a noise
No birds, no children playing with toys
The only sounds you hear are in your mind
Twisted and tangled in a bind
Every now and then releasing a scream
Just to end the silence of what you wish was a dream
But it only reminds you that you are alone
Sitting in a saddened quite zone
Wasteful thoughts passing threw your head
Wishing for something just to be said
So you close your eyes and try to escape
The repeated thoughts on your mental tape
Thoughts of sounds begin to nourish
As you fall asleep a dream beings to flourish
Your day now filled with lots of sounds
As your dream takes off into leaps and bounds
Sounds of everything that you have ever heard
From children, cars or the chirping bird
But as all dreams they must come to an end
As you slowly awake your dreams start to blend
Saddened and quite once more
Lying on your back on the floor
Wondering what the next days have in store
