Footsteps echo
as silence falls...
Images
ebb and flow
as I replay the day
and think of things i'd change.
I was just floating
when a sensation hit me
and was so strong,
there were no more illusions
I can see through the Illusions
there is something wrong.
When silence falls
I recall
there are many things I regret
and it's moments like these
I remember
that I will never forget.

I admit, your title is what drew me to this and I was not disappointed! Unbelievable
perception and insight here. It feels as a meditation of sorts ... and ... a revelation.
Fine writing! Very emotive and thought provoking.
