Getting Closer To Insanity

Contributed by alibof10 on Tuesday, 31st March 2009 @ 07:59:19 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Searching every day and night,
Trying to find the face of light,
The angel that has fallen upon me,
The princess that made me fall endlessly,
The love that consumed my mind,
The need that made our souls bind.

I search and look every day,
But I end up on my sorrow bay,
I keep trying but I fail,
I keep searching but all faces are pale.
I wish she would turn up at my door,
Enter and light my life to the core.

I look and find the love blooming,
Countless couples, together dreaming,
Living their dreams, all or some,
Reaching the greatest outcome,
But as I keep searching,
I also keep in yearning.

Waiting to find the girl of my dreams,
Hoping that one day Ill stop the midnight screams,
Yearning for the second our eyes meet,
Craving for the night of peaceful sleep

Strongly holding onto the last piece of sanity,
Awaiting the day I escape lifes cruelty,
The day Im saved by my guardian angel,
The day my life isnt so subtle,
The day I reach my happy shore,
The day I continue looking no more

This poem blew me away. The connection I felt to this tore at my heart. For love has it's way at showing up when you least expect it. Some days seem endless and unforgiving but it does turn out if you keep pursuing.
Lovely write with very wonderful emotions put into it.
