There's something intriguing about your eyes
They go deeper than most
Some believe the eyes are
The gateway
To one's soul
I can not stand shallow eyes - so cold,
So nothing...
I need a story
Darling, I know you've got one to tell
Most of us do
But yours is screaming to me
I can almost hear it
Please, let me in
Invite me into your mind
I'm here to listen
I'm here for you
No matter how many codes
No matter the obstacles
I would like you to let me in
This is a mystery I'm aching to find out
Baby, you have me hooked
Like a drug
And I think I'm falling in love
Sweetie, let me in
Let me in..
I know you have a story
And I'm dying to listen
Can I make my bed in your mind?
Will you tell me?
Will you let me figure you out?
Darling dear,
You've got me hooked
(I'll choke without you
You are my new oxygen)
And I know you're just as addicted
Can I claim your heart?
I already owe to you my life
I'm in love
And you're not even done with your story

I really like the urgent desire and yearning this poem conveys. I also exactly what you mean about the eyes. They can tell us so much.

| I'm definitely feelin this...its like an outpouring of compassion it makes me (the reader) feel like you are talking directly to me and i find it slightly seductive to read...had to read it twice |
