ode to lillehammer

silvered curls of a luminous white
glistening like the tears of an angels plight
i resist you with all my might
but to you it would be futile to fight
you oh lillehammer
you amuse me to the break of first light
to the dawn of night
you thrill me with your awesome sight
oh lillehammer
you embrace me in your frozen bite
you make my heart soar like a kite
you tease me please me
push me to the brink of fright
lift my soul higher to the edge of flight
you surround me in your perfect realm
untouched by the cruel hand of man
and i ponder how can ?
such a place like this come to be
and then i understand
i see
