night

Contributed by lostforgood on Wednesday, 26th March 2003 @ 02:25:00 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Night time is here, the darkness falls
Do not fear, there are no walls
The shining moon rises high
I promise you, it will not lie
And one by one, stars dot the sky
They twinkle and sparkle and dazzle away
Next, the shadows come out to play
They dance and twirl and spin and sway
The icy wind comes to flying in
Swirling about light as a pin
The grass becomes slightly glazed
With a clear and cool misty haze
Now there is a giant party
The moon is smiling brightly
The stars are winking slightly
The shadows are dancing happily
The wind is singing lovely
But then the sun begins to rise
And the night time life starts to die
The moon starts to fade
The stars do not stay
The shadows shrink
And the wind mopes away
Night time is gone and light brings the new day
