You watched me change
You saw me change
Into the person I am today
You saw me change on the inside
A view nobody else could see
You held my hand as I swam
Barely keeping my head above the water
You sat with me through the funeral
Of who I used to be
And told me it was okay
When everyone else said to give up
You made me a better person
A happier person
You were with me through it all
You saw me change
On the inside
A view no one else
Could ever see
