why is there such sorrow
sorrow still left deep
i thought about you earlier
and it didnt help to think.
why are you gone,
gone far from my life.
its unimaginable why
why you cant hear my cry
i do not know how you feel
and how you seem to think i feel
because you do not really help
when you do not realize it is real
i am crying deep within
although im just so happy
so happy with my life
and the people that absorb my might
they listen to my problems
and do not insult my command
they tell me why they care
and that i should not have to bare
bare the troubles,
bare the greif
bare what is left
of this non-existent leaf
this leaf that does not flow
this leaf that does not fly
how can we stand here and ignore
the leaf that is willing to cry.
i know there is something there
there has to be, right
we stood in our position
thinking for two years at the sight
i think of why i think this
i comprehend why i miss it
but i really could never tell you
that it is not a bunch of bull *****
i feel bad for cursing
during my spill of fears
but you truly have to understand
that i am a person who hears
you only have to talk to me
and tell me what happened,
so, tell me, what killed the cat
it is not as if i would hurt you
we both know we have already done enough of that
i could go on and on forever,
you know the notes i wrote
how i cared so much
and how we needed to forever gloat
the touch of a friend
a best friend at that
and how i treasured it
and how my responses to yours were crap
you wrote like a poet
saying how you cared
well could you tell me one thing other than how
who, what, when, why and where?

| i have just recently written this. i dont feel so much pain anymore i just felt like writing on past feelings because i couldnt do it before. please comment:) thank you for reading it! and you can look on my user page - smilinjlo17 for about 8 more. im just 17 and testing this poetry thing out. it is a great way for me to express myself. through rythym. my family says my poems would be good lyrics. tell me what you think. |
