Topic: anguished

Another night devoid of sleep
spent sowing sloth
infertile fields

Another crop of fear I reap
my mouth is dry
I cannot sleep

Blue blood runs cold through calloused skin
mid-summer's snow
the beggar's grin

Another fool finds cause to weep
a vain pursuit
the lonely sheep

Another truth I bury deep
I always lie
I never sleep

excellent write... dark.. naked..cold..... I loved it
