She is motion and movement, steady and unrelenting Time passes and she strangles it into submission glowing like a winter moon To know her is to appreciate her A worthy adversary A dance of deadly wills Her beauty reflects a subtle hint Perhaps you may escape The paradox that is her need Has anyone loved their fear as prey Been lost in the dance of life Yet found when she comes to call I have seen my very chains And cast them off at times Yet only to miss their weight How long will I hope to hope What comfort in a pipers dream That ends without a change Blindly I will follow the road Regardless of the night She beckons me

Excellent first post. I especially like
" I have seen my very chains
and cast them off at times
Yet only to miss their weight."
Very compelling & I enjoyed it. peace elle

Yes so was I Elle stole the lines lol.
Incredible verse here.
I loved the end too
Regardless of the night
She beckons me.
I could say lots about following a road real and imagined but those days are over lol.
Good work
