Lying here, in the pouring rain
Bleeding, barely breathing
Every beat of my heart could be the last
And, distraught, you will not find me
You don't know where I am
And you won't be here to listen
To the words I whisper, so feebly
"I love you..."
I whimper your name
Over
And over
I think the pain is taking
Over
And over
I'm hallucinating
Because I can hear your voice
Feel your hands
Trying to stop the bleeding
I feel your lips on mine
Breathing air into my aching lungs
But I fear it's too late
I am dying...
You pick me up in your strong arms
I feel something wet on my cheek
Blood
Rain
Or a tear
I can't tell, but I feel my body
Yes, I can feel again
I feel the jolt as the doctors
Shock my heart back to life
Jump-start my silent chest
It nearly fails, but continues
As I struggle to breathe
My lungs scream for air
Am I alive?
I'm right in between
Somebody, grab my hand
And pull me back
Or push me over
Somebody, end this agony
Suddenly, I can breathe
There's something providing
Cool, fresh air
I open my eyes
Forcing my vision to focus
And I see
I see you
You hold me in your arms
Whisper against my hair
"My baby, thank God...
I thought I lost you."

| Wow moonlightkiss... absolutely amazing. I dont even know where to start.... front to back, top to bottom rivetting. Chilled to the bone.. I can't say enough about this one 5 stars for sure. |
