The potential exhuberance i present myself with
at the thought of your company
overwhelms my senses
The memories on the beach,
in the bars, in the pool,
climbing out of the pool..
carrying you out of the pool,
touching your cheek with mine,
catching your eye
and for a moment that lasted an eternity
willing myself to kiss you
before putting you down and feigning ignorance
I wonder if i will ever be brave enough
to shake my world so drastically
that there is room for you.
Do i have what it takes
to risk everything
on the girl of my dreams..
this remains to be seen
