Heart in chains, so weighed down
In shock, in fear, will I drown?
Just as surely as two can do,
Im drowning in love with you.
Walls to break, war was waged
All to protect heart in cage.
Never sought to feel free,
Yet here you have arms around me.
Fought for air, let me go
I was caught in your undertow.
Farther down the current drew
But I didnt want to escape you.
Sinking as I surrendered within
Just then, you reeled me in.
As soon as surface bidden adieu,
I allowed myself to drown with you.
