You are the light that shines my cove
Youre in my heart whenever I rove
You watch over me with love and care
You speak to me when other dont dare

Youre in my life before my birth
You fed me to build my girth
You hold me with love when I cry
Youre in my thoughts not a day goes by

Youre love I know with every breath I take
You put your love into every meal you make
You love my brother and sisters as you love me
Youre life you give so we can see

You are the mother I hold dear
You have helped me reach through my fear
You have my love that will continue on
You are my mother and I your son
