I didnt reach for the golden ring, or run that extra mile kept looking for the next best thing, ignored her gentle smile
I thought I could do better, that early choices didnt matter I had a life to live, but never lived it, only now do I believe it
People settled, with themselves and others, turned into parents, partners, lovers she built a life without me in it, now out of reach, I have to accept it
winners are grinners and losers are sinners
All the poor choices and sad regrets, the selfishness and dud bets I made a mistake and didnt choose her, that makes me, the biggest Loser.

I wonder how life could have been, if i had
made the better choice when i was 18!
14 years later, and I've found the one I was destined to find.
Sometimes, the biggest losers shed the greatest weight....... off their shoulders.
