the darkness of night
covers the frightened
they sit layered with protection
slowly decaying with boredom

the everlasting need within
carves out from beneath
leaving scars showing all
it's going to win

out comes the desire
running riot among the dead
frenzied defence
breaking down

moving with stead
it cannot be lead
it will dominate
that crave for red

saving the frightened
by removing the boredom
the layers of protection
love on in death
