Plead with me to unpack
But I find I can't comply.
My friend know I'm not right
They beg me to sleep at night
But I'm sure I can't anymore.
I try to tell myself that you have forever gone
But I can't.
I want to believe that you're with that blonde
But I can't.
Yes, my mind knows we are finally done
It tries to tell my heart that you aren't the one
But my heart just can't believe.
I look into your dark eyes
Knowing it's not a surprise
But my soul can't take anymore.
I need you to come close to me
I ask you to just sing along
But you can't...
You've forgotten our song.
