Through the maddening dance from the candle flame The bringer of light through whence you came I saw him and I asked his name, To my name, our names, the same The light you bring to the darkness thrill, Just a candle flame, everything else is still Just the candle flame, in the night brought light, I put pen to paper and begin to write With perfect expression, clearest sight, Through the pitch black darkness of the night While the candle flame dances on, Silence is this dancers song And after long, this flame will be gone, Until I light another candle All will be still, But light another candle I probably will!
