i'm sorry that i couldn't be a better friend,
that the words couldn't come more easily
that i couldn't give you something to ease the pain,
that i couldn't say all the right things
at all the right times
i'm sorry that i chased you off
when you were hurting
but i don't know what to say when
you're miles away
and in so much pain
i'd give an arm or a leg
just to see you pop up on instant messenger
and say that you're okay
instead of being so upset
where i can't reach you

I agree with Daniela. It can be really tough and nothing that anyone can say will stop you worrying. I wish there was something I could say. PM me if you need to talk.

distance makes things so much harder...when my son was in another state I just prayed a lot because I could not be near to help him.
