I'm an addict
Dare I say it true
I am consumed
By you
There's a pride in me
That grows a little more
Each time I think of you
Knowing that you love me
You're a drug
I know it's so cliche
But you see it's true
Every day
Without you
Brings me down
Though this is my own fault
I've become so addicted to you
Over and over
My heart breaks a little more
So now I feel
It's time I become un-intertwined
I'm not trying to not love you
I just need to separate you from everything I do
Distance is the agony that lays a heavy burden
Your love for me will always give me joy
My love for you will always warm my heart
I have this idea
Of a whole new alteration
I'm trying to change my composition
I have a need to amend my mind-set
We've gathered so much love
But hundreds of miles stands in between
Now we don't know what to do
One foot after the other
I will survive
I would like to thank you for your help
At late
You have made it easier to transform
You've closed me off
A loss of interest, tasted by simple words
This hurts.

wow great poem. i loved it.
i can definitely relate to this
because i've written quite a
few like this. if this is based
on reality, just keep hangin
in there. and if you have
somebody you love, think
of them.
