I had a dream There was no more you and me Only the words that make up what we used to be Everything we knew was gone Enclosing me in four walls Blank stares screaming bold words Of everything I had ever said to you Ricocheting back were the echoes of your responses Each piercing through me
Almost as if retracing my steps Im rewinding back to our conversations Searching for clues of if were really through Why not? Theres no point anymore ore ore I still like you What I would have given to hear that echoed back But there was no response No echo, just my own noise
Waiting patiently for a response To the point that I couldnt take it I screamed out Go I got an echo, but it was the quietest ever heard As everything disappeared The riot walls now empty crash down around me Emptiness floods around me as I leave in dismal All I can do is breath And pray to God to awake me from this nightmare dream Even though the reality is the same
Sunshine enters through my eyes Once again surrounded by blank walls And I can swear I hear ever so slightly A faint echo, I did did did

i see massive potential here. shave off a few off the rough edges of your poetry, and i think you can be fantastic. i know you have a natural gift, it is in your words.
