I tip-toe on the beach on a cool Spring morning; I hear the tide come in an see the footprints die. I lift a seashell to my ear and hear a warning; the sound resembles an eternal apathetic cry. I throw the shell down in a fit of hysterical fear; how could such a beautiful sunrise on a beach turn grim? I glide across the water-glistened sand and horrifically peer; it is a sight that makes the sun turn dim-- a lack of footprints on the freshly damp sand. I contemplate the intangible evidence of my presence and realize the world is not altered as I stand on the sand on the sunlit land.

Profound write and it leaves a message to think on here. There is depth in this one.
Nicely written with beautiful images.
