Youre down on bended knee,
you hide behind your pew,
theres no where now to flee,
hes got his sights on you.
Theres nowhere he cant see,
if what you say is true.
Its time to state your plea,
received your sentence too.
Cant hide behind a crucifix,
dont build a higher steeple,
wont take your son in sacrifice,
you know he loves his people.
Youve got yourself to blame.
It does no good to cry.
The end is still the same,
why do you wonder why.
You make his love a game.
Your love was just a lie,
misused, abused his name,
youll see it by and by.
Tears wont hide your face, man,
repentance aint that simple.
Jesus hates a hypocrite,
its time to clear the temple.

There's no satisfaction
like the truth that is
this world is cloked in hypocrisy
so many don't seem to mind
as it's written the toll will be paid
truly gratifying passage
