This emptiness how can I replace In my heart takes too much space I revere on what could have been And know full well it will never be seen
A snippet, a glimpse to me did avail But to hold in my hands I did fail My hope outweighed what was real Only through my heart was I able to feel
Alas in honesty how could I ever To succeed with her was really a never I knew she was too far, too high on a perch But wherever I looked she was my search
So now to gather what little remains And walk a path without any stains And perhaps a new vision I will see A new love that will love me
