Life isn't fair

Contributed by Voice of the Silent on Sunday, 17th May 2009 @ 12:18:38 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I was hoping this would turn out sounding better but the message is there so thats good enough for me

Life isn't fair
As if anyone cares
Example when the rich wage war
It's the poor who die

Thats not fair
But I doubt anyone cares
If you deserve something more then all
Get ready to be disappointed it goes to the suck up

Nothings ever fair
And everyone notices this here and there
And some times this makes people want to die
They just can't take life so the break down and cry

Sorry to be the one to tell you
No matter what you do
Life isn't going to change and be so fair
You just have to take it and pretend you don't care

What can I say?
Life may never go your way
So what here's what that means?
Life sucks

Just deal with it

Well, that's a very sad and unfortunate way to look at life. Yes I would agree
that life is unfair (that much is obvious from the moment we are born ... some to
privilege, some to poverty), but life sucks? No no no, my friend. It may sound cliché
but life is what you make it. Yes, there are some unfair advantages given to others,
but there is no prejudice where happiness is concerned. Accepting that life is unfair
does not necessarily mean that one doesn't care. It just means you know there are
limits and boundaries and when we learn that happiness has no price tag, and no
power is necessary to acquire it, some parts of life stand explained.

Good write though. It's easy to see you've thought about this much
and are searching for answers. Never stop looking. Sometimes you'll
find what you need in the oddest places. ^_^

keep writing!
