Throughout my life, I have search for Love
But they say it cant be sought out
It must come from above
Everyone says, listen and wait
Look to my heart
And Ill meet my soul mate
I know the men I choose
Are not good for me
But if I wait to be chosen
Alone I will be
I now give up hope
I give up willingly
In my heart there is nothing
My faith cant carry me
For no one can Love a weak, wounded heart
One that has been broken
And closed off from the start
There is no longer a reason
To listen and wait
There is no one for me
It may be too late
For I must accept myself
With unconditional Love
Only then can God show me
My one true Love
