A Loved One Lost

A sad time, in your life
In your heart, you grieve
Losing, someone you love
Yet you must believe

The pain will subside
Life will carry on
That feeling of loss
Will soon be gone

Remember the good times
You had together
Memories to cherish
With you forever

A pain within you
This time you feel
Sadness and sorrow
Yet this will heal

Paintings in the mind
Pictures you hold
Seeing your loved one
Your heart consoled

Their soul is with you
There, forevermore
Watching and protecting
Wherever, you may go
