You stole my heart,
we both know it's true,
a humble gift from me to you.
Before I met you I was incomplete,
less than a whole,
missing a piece.
It was on that fateful day that things changed,
a single word was muttered,
and life rearranged.
Ever since then my life has been different,
each day has been a journey,
and each moment with you and adventure.
Mountains grow larger as hills grow steeper,
into love we both sink deeper.
Things have been tough,
they've been rocky,
but it's not enough,
not enough to end our joy.
Eventually things changed again,
a new journey,
our adventure begins.
It was on that fateful night,
what started as a simple visit
became an emotional flight,
opening my eyes.
I waited so long to feel your lips against mine,
hand in hand,
passing the time.
Locked in our passion we fade away,
reality lost,
never keeping track of time or day.
That day everything changed.
You've brought me out of my shell,
seen the true me;
until now I didn't even know who I was.
You've taken me to places I've never gone before,
given me love,
shown me more.
For that, I am eternally grateful.
You've stolen my heart,
we both know it's true,
and never shall we stray apart.
