This poem is for you But you never will see it What am I supposed to tell you? "Come see what I wrote"!? No way, just forget it I'd rather not show you And reveal all the feelings Held back in my throat
This poem is for you But since you can't read it I'll say that you light up My world, and I swear That I might even love you But I've known you so long You must think I'm your cousin Bound with blood we don't share
This poem is for you But I won't let you see it 'Cause in spite all my daydreams It won't work that way I know that our hearts are Made of the same stuff but One thing is for sure-- I can't force you to stay
This poem is for you Though the whole world may read it To whom it's intended Will not be aware I'll live in my own world And you'll live in yours So you never will read this --And you probably don't care.

Truly delightful To love someone so much as not to burden them but always hoping they will catch a glimpse and know it's them you are longing for refreshing and youthful -D.Truth |

Incredible, this poem has been me too, longing that the person you day dream about will notice but to no avail and short of actually having the courage to tell that person, theres really not alot you can do. Shyness? maybe.
Thank you for putting into words what so many cant. |
