A GOLD COIN

I am a coin slipped from the hands
of God, spinning round and round on
the floor of love, on two sides of
this coin My soul has written these
verses addressing the God or Goddess!
On one side of me: A Hymn to KaaLika

I don't know how much I love you
I can't just live without your love!
You are my heart and my heart beat
You are my earth and my life breath
You are my dream and my life stream
You are my lake and my thought wave
You are my word and my song bird
You are my verse and my universe
You are my night and my moon light
You are my day and my sun-light
You are my altar and my soul-flame
You are my truth and true existence
You are my goddess and heavens bliss
You are my dawn and my love divine
You are my peace and my omniscience
I don't know how much I love you
I can't just live without your love!
On other side of me: A Hymn to Self

I know Him the Lord of Universe-
In me exists the universal being
The ancient person ageless I am
The mystic person clueless I am
Neither attachments nor aversions
Clung to my neck and no passions
Ever touch my soul, though I love
Every one and I live only by love!
I proclaim life is eternal; my body
Is a temporary temple of the God!
There fore I live in consciousness
Of God, the creator of the universe
I have neither heart breaks nor cries
Nor tears of tragedies, alone I walk
In the light of God I read my hopes
And now I beg you to heed my words
What ever I write is only to please
My Lord of the universe or to please
My mother of universe who is nothing
But the cosmic energy of the Great God
And also the embodiment of supreme nature
Exists as the God's love in our hearts!
Now tell me friend which side of the Earth
is the best side?

My what a big coin this is!! lol J/K These two sides leave a lot to ponder. Can't we chose both? This has me thinking, wondering about the ways of life. Thank you, friend. You always leave me with more knowlege and more to mull over.

I don't think I could choose only one of the beautiful passages that you wrote. I also thought both sides of the coin could be heartfelt prayers. I read your poem silently and then I read it aloud and it lifts the spirit and encompasses the eloquence of a bright spiritual poet.
I loved the phrase "the embodiment of supreme nature". That just says so much to me.
