As autumn turns to winter The road only seems longer Whenever you feel stronger All of the sudden everything seems so rigid There is never an end to the tunnel You just have to keep sauntering down the path While trying to avoid the worlds wrath You are never able to make your own turns Because you never break the rules Unable to pursue what your heart knows is true The only things you can see are footprints from a worn out shoe Now you realize it was your tracks But you still continue to travel along the circular course As winter turns to spring The road only seems longer

Sometimes the long roads are the best, adventures give way to self awareness.
Good write. |
