Grief

You sit as if nothings wrong Dont you know whats going on? The bottle in your hand; Your future The chair youre in; Your death bed Bitterness swims through your system Your solution to every problem Helpless I watch Watch you slowly waste away Every drink cuts like a knife Slowly youre dying For you, the light is near For everyone else darkness appears Unsatisfied, like it isnt enough You demand more Starting to slip away, youre lifeless Resentful we just watch But wrapped in glass and paper; You just sit as if nothings wrong
