The Love I Have For You

I know why Shakespeare could not compare His love to a summers day, His love was as strong as mine for you Too much to be comparable in any way.
Feeling awe-inspired, so full of life You eradicate urges to despond. Acts of kindness and devotion you show Seem to replenish my energies above and beyond.
Coupled together compounded forever As if we were one, two halves to a whole, Your half has endeavoured to be embedded Lasting eternally in a place in my soul.
Words cannot justify my feelings, Even Oxford would have published if only they knew The words to proclaim with every beat of my heart, The love I have for you.
