Inspiration is all around;
it lives in the eyes of lovers.
Ideas can be sparked from an array of sounds;
inspiration can be hiding underneath the covers.
Ideas reside in our daily lives;
they can be seen on a rose petal.
Inspiration can stab the imagination like a knife.
It can be a finger print on shiny metal.
Inspiration can be an emotion;
it exudes the feeling of the moment.
Ideas flow from a pen like a lover's devotion;
inspiration is triggered when there is a feeling to vent.
Ideas bleed from the soul;
they express life's true meaning.
Inspiration will perpetually glow;
Ideas will exist in a heart that's beating.
