Quiet now, talk soft
Quiet now, don't talk at all
I want to feel your light
Dance across my palm

In this moment
This moment we have
Managed to carve
From the mouths of
Those who would consume us
If they had but the appetite

Quiet now, move slow
Quiet now, don't move at all
I want this still life
As an etching in my mind

To remember the moment
We escaped for a second
Into each other's imaginations
Before reality blew in
And turned it all to dust

Quiet now, Time will make it better
Quiet now, in Time we won't feel a thing
