Masks... Masks people wear...
Do they show who they really are
Do they dare...
Why do people always wear masks
Why their true identity do they hide...
Why don't they express who they are
Inside...
Why is it that people Judge you
For the mask they see..
Why can't they just be who they were
Meant to be...
Why can't people see beyond the mask in front of them...
If they only took the time to be a friend...
The question ..that we must ask
Ourselves...
Is the real you just hidden on a shelf...
Waiting to be discovered
Collecting dust...
Some wear mask because in others
they do not trust...
Some are happy and Some are Sad
Some have Hate and are
always mad...
Some are filled with Love beyond compare....
but have that love locked and will not share....
Why do Masks keep us apart..
From knowing what's inside their heart...
