We must return to the beginning, where this story began
A nation under God, liberty and man
Now in our courts, the Ten Commandments are banned
This was not part of our forefathers plan
America, dont you see the error of your ways?
Youve been corrupted, the latest political craze
I could care less of your red, blue, political haze
Washington said; this is only a chapter in the book, a phase
I dont want to be remembered for your politically correct views
Dont speak for me, your front page headlines and breaking news
Not sure what I can believe, what is true?
Your propaganda, you force down the throats of those who refuse
Youve become that which our forefathers despised
Full of wickedness, deception and lies
As you maintain good relations with your allies?
Please America; wake up, and open your eyes
Taxes arent enough? Now, you want my guns too?
Better bring some friends; I got a few bullets left just for you
Ill defend my rights, a faithful patriot thats true
Were the majority, not the powerful few

| I like the message in this. Its something I feel most people think, yet nothing is done about it, and with each passing year of our apathy we will sink deeper into corruption and evil. Nice write! |
