Weve had our share of goodbyes
But theres room here now for you and me
Will you come home to stay
Isnt it funny how we always end up right back here
Missing what weve tried to leave behind
Just know this time Im not letting go
My lessons learned from the failures in our past
Im far from perfect
Its so clear now that with every finger pointed at you
There should have been another pointing at me
Our second chance has come and gone
But love doesnt come easy
And we have to fight for the ones worth keeping
Will you come home to stay
My beds been lonely and my dreams empty
Like a child left alone
My entire world crumbled with out you
Every breath felt pointless
So place your ring back on your finger
Lets grow together, and leave behind our goodbyes
Starting a new life and finding our better side
