Weakest Link

Contributed by VR2776 on Monday, 1st June 2009 @ 07:58:46 AM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

How do I tell you
What I feel inside...
That in you
I cannot Confide...

I dont beleive a
word you say...
Lies you tell
me everday...

Why do you feel the
need to lie to me ...
I try so hard
So hard to see...

See why you
cant be true...
Cant you see
You make me blue...

In my heart
resentment builds...
With your lies
our relationship you kill...

Why did you let
yourself be decieved....
By the one called
the enemy...

he has covered you
eyes
and hardened your
heart...
He knew you had
you from the start...

He knew you werent
strong enough...
You just pretended
to be tough...

All the while in
his sand you sank...
So its the enemy
you can thank...

He succeeded
and is content...
With how things have
been destroyed and bent...

Who would ever think...
that you would be
the weakest link...

You wrote a very heartfelt poem here.
Welcome to YPDC.
I also agree with Conni on everything she said.
