I get that warm feeling
When I think of you
I feel safe, protected
Like there's nothing I can't do.
You provide that comfort
That gets me through the day
Like somewhere I can escape to
You give me somewhere to stay.
When my world is spinning out of control
And I hardly dare to breathe
When my heart is losing blood too quick
And my consciousness starts to leave.
I run home; run straight into your arms
And let you hold me, so tight
I cry into your shoulder softly
As you assure me it'll be alright.
And you make me feel strong enough
To take on almost anything
I fall silent, and look at you
As I listen to you sing
My soul's song, my life's beat
My soulmate; I know it's true
Can't wait to be with you...
I get that loved feeling, when I'm with you
I'm at home and assured that
I'll succeed at everything I do
You give me comfort, and I'll make it through the day
Like life support, you save me
And there's nowhere I'd rather stay.
