My life was a dark abyss
As I sank to the bottom of the sea
And my head was spinning with thoughts of death
But only death for me
The red blood pours
From each of my wounds
All self-inflicted
And all because of them
Then there was a light
It shined through the darkness of life
I look around, shocked and blinded
Then saw you standing near me
I found you and you saved me
You, the only one who could
The darkness cannot compete with you
The shining angel from above
You pulled me out of darkness
There is no doubt of that
And you held me close to you
Though it seemed that I would crack soon
My life was a dark abyss
But I found you
And my life changed, without a doubt.
