An archer for a moment, the
planets in conjunction looked like
some wile of the gods, a prank dreamt
by a few (thins and muscled, interested
only in the latter). They climbed here, swam
here: Even triathlon here. Taking their yellow here,
they tanned upon things they made themselves,
reprehending the one-second perfection,
then fell here
into another parsimonious world
with no tolerance for appreciation.
At least, that is: We'd say here,
to brush the sunpaste
off our backs.
