As we start out lives together
we picked up where we never
got to and hope to last forever
we have our bad and good times
sometimes we change our minds
as our hearts begin to bind
we are different in some ways
we go through our phases
staring into each others faces
as we lay gazing at the stars
while others are at the bars
its like we are on mars
sometimes you make me cry
just to help my soul die
when you say goodbye
