Lost Cause

Contributed by Kane on Monday, 8th June 2009 @ 06:23:18 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Demented is the mind left to rot, spitting up blood when I cough,
Tormented is my soul, with nothing but this blade I hold,
Twisted are my thoughts, calculating the amount of humanity Ive lost,
Death of the flesh, looking forward to the reapers cold caress,

The path Ive chosen, is the one not known,
Where it leads, Im sure to bleed,
Arrive at a dead end, now the demons close in,
Their teeth as sharp as razors, gnawing and biting, where is this Lord and savior,

Once theyve had their fill, Satan swoops in to finish the deal,
My skin begins to burn, my body reduced to ashes and placed in an urn,
My soul takes flight, but the flames are too high,
Theres no escape, what I feel you could never relate,

Infected with an evil seed, to destroy the Earth is my destiny,
Leading the Four horsemen, they call me the Omen,
The world is mine to do as I please; you will bow before me,
To crucify Jesus upon the cross, wow.. was that a lost cause.

Heart & Soul
Kane

I found this quite a imaginative write full of imagery. Many images went through my mind as I read it.
