Have you ever seen the harvest moon
Lay diamonds on the water?
Have you heard the wolf cry out in pain
Due to passion's raging fire?
Have you ever searched the universe
For truth beyond the lies?
Set foot into another's pain
By looking through their eyes?
Have you ever been inspired
By the swaying of the trees?
Have you ever loved like fairy tales
With ground distant from feet?
Have you ever painted summer sky
Simply using words?
Poured your heart into a song
To sing it to the world?
Every day, on display
For anyone to see.
Heart perched upon my shirt
Defining my redsleeve.
