~Believe In The Dream~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Thursday, 11th June 2009 @ 07:48:22 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

~~xXx~~

Two separate lives is what they lead
Each other's love is all they need.
Thousands of miles apart they live
But to each other, strength they give.

Recollections of his hands on her hips
Or the way he looked at her taut nips.
Memories of when their mouths did touch
Still haunt them both so very much.

Stolen touches they both shared
Tender looks that showed they cared.
How she wished theyd had some time alone
But this secret of theirs must never be known.

He dreams of being able to explore,
She fantasizes about sharing so much more.
After being made to feel so alive
Without each other how are they to survive?

Yet they know they cannot cross the line
And on each other, they can never dine.
Still, they choose to believe in their dream
And hope some day to make each other scream.

~~xXx~~

Oh Jenni how tantilizingly beautiful.
Without dreams no one would grow.......
Reality and everyone will know.
To feel so alive, and yet never realize
Tis a hard life to surmize.
I wish with all my heart..........someday............
somewhere...........your dreams will come true!
Warm love

I confess to having not read your work in a while. This reminded me of why you influenced my poetry so much in my early period on this site. Your flow is just unmatchable, by anyone on this site. Each write is an education in how to be a poet. spectacular once again.

How touching! Miles apart for so long, yet they still kept dreaming only of eachother and no one else. A true testimony of true love! Beautiful!
