I thought we had it
we met in a weird way
it was like a crack of thunder

you took me by surprise
i feel for u quickly
u were easy to like

soon we were whispering
i love you's
up to all hours of the night

we went to different schools
but that didnt stop the texts
throughout the day

then things started to change
we would get into fights
being with you got harder

we couldnt relate anymore
things got weird
i went away for a weekend

we both felt that we were over
so we ended things
but i felt you werent telling me everything

one night you texted me
you said to me that u didnt
you told me u cheated

i was heart broken
but i played it off really cool
but u left me confused

you texted me one night to say u missed me
i was over you then
or so i thought

i wasnt over you
i didnt think i would ever be
i miss you babe

but im over you know
so leave me alone
and let me go
