The sun is setting in paradise, And the palms cut the mango watercolours of the sky, An aura of humid heat and ambient combustion blurs the senses, When paradise loses magic paradise looses sentiment.
The stars perforate the night, and the laughter breaks its' stillness. the fervor of the day transforming. When paradise looses sentiment, paradise becomes hollow.
Taken into punctured dreams, the finale inescapable a sedate consciousness on awakening. When paradise becomes hollow, paradise is inert.
Sunrise appears in paradise, It receives the day with melancholy, the morning beams sweep away the nighttime reverie. Since paradise lost its confidante, I am in paradise. Lost.

What an amazing piece you've written here.
I love how you tied each stanza together,
making the whole of this piece seamless.
I especially liked the last line of the first
stanza. It really caught me.It's a really
lovely and thought-provoking write.
Great job!
Be well,
~Loende |
