His story

Contributed by newtopoetry on Friday, 12th June 2009 @ 12:46:40 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Going to see him,
it has been nine long months.
phone calls and mail dont do justice,
the feeling of love in the embrace between one another.

a bond thicker than any ever
he confides in me the big secret
as a young one he had a personal monster
stuck inside him for a long time due to a cruel witch

she took his innocence
and in turn took mine as well.
we both grew up faster then anyone ever anticipated
the harsh realities of life, the responsibilities of knowing them

to this day i cant believe
someone could be so cruel
for their own amusement even.
she should be punished, yet she is out there walking through life

the wilderness has changed him
he is such a different person, changed even
yet, i can still see the hint of those old days of madness
the days of fear and sadness holding in everything that he did

the anger and the manipulation
my fear of my own blood is something
i never wish upon anyone ever in their life
one shouldn't be afraid to live in their house tiptoeing around, don't upset

she is untouched by the damage
that she inflicted on him, my family, and me
justice should be served and one day she will
get her justs do and pay for the pain she inflicted on my family.

Great poem. I like how detailed it is. Remember that a life well lived is the best revenge.
