A Pack of Joke Drumming drops of rainwater, Synchronizing heartbeat, stringing loud are my thoughts, an acid rock concert that rocked my soul from within. Celebration on its top, happy faces everywhere, gossiping women, bragging men, giggling toddlers in their midst stood me staring blank as a plank. Cheer-up was a call from the rear, it is your Wedding-day is it? was my subconscious mumble, or was it little they know about the note she left that said, I found my dream; leaving behind you, a pack of joke. -FRANCO-

Benedetto,
This poem bought tears to my eyes and I could feel the disconnection and disbelief the knife cut of words to a heart and soul.
Love,
Linda |
